In a statement, a Centre:MK spokesperson expressed grief over the loss of a dedicated colleague who was a familiar and cherished figure in the community. The message also noted the person’s commitment to their family and extended heartfelt condolences during this profoundly difficult time.
On Monday around midday, lines formed as people lined up to sign a book of condolence for the man affectionately known as “Big Stan.”
More than 100 bouquets and various memorial items were left at the site.
Among the tributes were hand-drawn cards addressed to a “grandpa,” and notes from shop staff praising Stanley’s infectious laughter and friendly demeanor.
